On Abstract Photography: Janet Sleeper Kerr's critic on Philip Rebstock’s print.

Though to Rebstock it was a fascination for inward and random journey. But Janet found so many intricate fibers being woven in this piece of art.
as she puts it: I'm Awestruck! This is the best synthesis yet of his dreamlike surrealist imagery. the viewer is immediately placed in a magical environment. We step into a darkly lit corridor(where we do not recognize: another world? From within our dreams? with extrasensory vision?). the most crucial element  of this seems to be that brightly lit space at the end of the "corridor"-where light reveals movement. Is this world aquatic or in some ancient earthen pathway? what hides and what is  revealed within the shadows? The beautiful translucent colors upon pristine white pathway and the languid shadows connote a sense of ease rather than danger.....The whole is mesmerizing, compelling, tranquil, and mysterious.  Beautiful and masterfully complex!
